Save the date! POTLUCK, a group show, 2 May 26

Poster for the show

We’re delighted to invite you to POTLUCK, a group exhibition initiated by artist and friend Vera Horvath, bringing together a constellation of artists around a shared and compelling idea: the work in progress.

Rather than presenting only resolved or final pieces, POTLUCK focuses on what often remains unseen — the ongoing, the unfinished, the transitional. It’s an invitation to step into the creative process itself, to encounter gestures, fragments, and evolving forms that reveal how artworks come into being.

The exhibition unfolds as a collective exploration. Each artist contributes their own approach to this “in-between” state, creating a dialogue between practices, mediums, and sensibilities. The result is a dynamic and open-ended presentation, where experimentation and intuition take center stage.

For this occasion, Karolina Dema and Virgile Demo will present a selection of recent works, including drawings, paintings, and a few unexpected pieces that reflect this idea of process and transformation. These works offer a glimpse into our current research — moments of pause, hesitation, layering, and discovery.

Hosted at Vera’s studio in Schaerbeek, the exhibition invites visitors to experience art in a more immediate and intimate way. It’s a space to engage, to ask questions, and to connect directly with the artists throughout the day.
