Open for Commissions in 2026!
2026 already has us very busy, with a number of projects underway—from our visual diaries to news illustrations.
This year, we are still making time for drawing commissions, as we’re always excited to collaborate with you on new projects.
We typically work on a A4 (21 x 29.7cm) and A5 (14.8 x 21 cm) formats, with wax pastel and colour pencil as our techniques of choice.
Let us walk you through some of our latest work:
Cosmic Family, Virgile Demo, 2025, Wax Pastel, Colour Pencil and Felt-Tip Pen on Paper, 21 × 29.7 cm
Cosmic Family
For a child’s birthday party, a returning client from France commissioned a group portrait of a family of five—six, including the dog, which was added from a separate photo. The idea was to gift a little boy an image of his immediate family, to be given on his birthday.
We worked in close collaboration with the client, with continuous back-and-forth exchanges, drawing from family photos shared with us.
We agreed on the following format and technique: A4 drawing, using wax pastel and colour pencil.
Personalised Background
Before starting the drawing per se, we submitted a digital collage to be approved by the client. We suggested rethinking the backdrop to turn a special image into an unforgettable memory. The client chose an interstellar setting inspired by the child’s love of astronomy and space travel. We particularly enjoyed the contrast between the tightly knit family unit and the immensity of the cosmos.

As usual, we submitted two options—one by Karolina Dema and one by Virgile Demo—making it easier for the client to choose. The remaining drawing was kept for our archives.
Pet Drawings

Cats · Dogs · Pet & Child
Ahead of the holidays, a new client from Brussels commissioned a series of single-portrait drawings. After some discussion, we agreed on four illustrations on an A5 format: three pet portraits and one portrait of a child with their pet. Rendered with a mix of wax pastel and colour pencil.
Due to tight deadlines, we accelerated the creative process and completed both creation and delivery within three days, just in time for Christmas!
