Karolina’s Fire Horse tryptich, inspired by the upcoming year of the fire horse in the Chinese calendar. A reference to the horse in art history, and an activation of the Year of the Horse: speed, aim, determination. Based on a digital collage, then drawn on paper with colour pencil and wax pastel. 21 x 29.7cm x 21 x 29.7cm x 21 x 29.7cm

Daily Drawings in 2026
Additionally, we’re also sharing with you Virgile 11 first drawings of the year. Made using felt-tip pens and the occasional ink and wax pastel. The aim of this ongoing series is to map out the different objects and themes Virgile is interested in on that day. An exercise in memory, as well as a response to each day’s specificity.
